Our Story
Kilimanjaro Packages was founded by Innocent John, the visionary behind Zaita Tours. Based in Arusha, Tanzania — the gateway city to Kilimanjaro — we've built a reputation as one of the region's most trusted Kilimanjaro climbing companies.
Our philosophy is simple: every climber deserves the safest, most rewarding Kilimanjaro experience possible. We achieve this through proper acclimatization schedules, experienced KINAPA-certified guides, and genuine care for every person who joins our expeditions.
Today, Kilimanjaro Packages operates expeditions on Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Kenya, and the Rwenzori Mountains. We remain a locally-owned company based in Arusha, employing over 200 local guides, porters, and support staff from the communities surrounding these mountains.
